NOBLE JAPANESE WOODEN BARRELS

Japanese Mizunara oak is known as the most prestigious and unique type of wood for the production of barrels. Its rare availability as well as the difficult process to treat and work the noble hardwood are the main reasons for its exclusivity. The characteristic flavours of Mizunara oak are favoured by whiskey distilleries. The extravagant combination of vanillin, spicy as well as floral touches are accompanied with a very low concentration of tannins.  These exceptional barrels are delivered directly from our partner cooperage in Cognac, France.
