The French Limousin oak is a well-liked and favoured type of wood for evolving distillates. Benefiting from the large-grain and tannic wood, spirits develop excellent expressions and display a clear colour. The sources for our French oak are sustainably managed forests in the center of France.  These barrels of exceptional quality are produced by our cooperages in France.

As an alternative to our French oak barrels, we also offer the large range of casks made of other oaks and types of wood: There you will find exceptional barrels of American White Oak from Missouri and Pennsylvania in the USA, Spanish Oak from northern Spain, Acacia and Chestnut from France and Hungary, as well as barrels from Wild Cherry and Mulberry.
