FROM DOURO VALLEY TO VILA NOVA DE GAIA

The maturation of port and the type of oak that is being used is sometimes handled very differently. From large format vats and casks to small barrels - it all depends on the producer and his own preferences. These diverse procedures result in different styles, degrees of maturity and classifications.

We source our barrels directly from port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia and directly from the Douro Valley.
