WOODEN BARRELS FROM NORTHERN ITALY

The Recioto della Valpolicella is a deep red Italian wine with a pronounced sweet character and is one of the sweet, dessert or liqueur wines. Because of the guaranteed designation of origin, the cultivation of the grapes is restricted to certain communities. From selected wineries of this region, we obtain our oak barrels, which are mainly made of French oak.

The production of these specific wines takes place in different growing areas all over Europe. From there, the relevant wine-growing companies supply us with these exceptional barrels. These include Banyuls Barrels from southwest France, Marsala Barrels from Sicily, Moscatel Barrels from France, Portugal and Spain, Sauternes Barrels from Bordeaux, Monbazillac Barrels (very similar to Sauternes wine) from Bergerac and Tokaji Barrels from the well-known wine-growing region in Hungary.
